Radar systems gather huge amounts of data. To extract the essentials from this data, you need a radar extractor. Saab's FOX radar extractor decides which targets can be seen, and which should be withheld from your presentation system.

FOX is an extremely vital component, enabling you to stay focused on the important stuff. It employs a range of sophisticated filtering and detection techniques to raise the detection performance, even when using commercial-grade radar antennas and transceivers. There are a number of standard FOX configurations optimised for typical radar applications that can easily be adapted based on new or slightly different customer requirements:

ASR for air surveillance (medium- to long-range).
VTS/CS for vessel-traffic and costal surveillance.
SMR for surface movements at airports.
MOBILE for mounting on moving platforms.

There is also a variety of add-on functionality and option packs.
